Hello. My name is Ed. For 46 years I lived in the Chicagoland area. I am a “cityboy” at heart. I love the hustle and bustle of taxis, trains, buses, and all the people that fill the streets. In 2010 I made the move with my wife and 3 kids to Fort Worth, TX. While we still are part of Suburbia, I do miss the streets of Chicago.
I drive a truck for a living, choosing the same vocation as my father. I enjoy the freedom of the open road, seeing the country in ways most people never get a chance. I marvel at the handiwork of God as I witness some of the most awe-inspiring views of creation. One never gets tired of watching the finger of God paint a sunset or sunrise, day after day, night after night, always new and refreshing.
In 1986, God’s purpose for my life He had set in motion from before the creation of the world came to fruition:
Ezekiel 36:26 “And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”
I finally for the first time experienced true freewill. I now had the ability to chose good…for the proper reasons and motivations. Praise be to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior of my soul from the eternal punishment I so rightly deserved for being an enemy of my Creator.
Dead on Friday…Raised to new life for the forgiveness of sins on Sunday.
